Margaret Altman, 73, of Alexandria, VA passed away on October 30, 2018 at Sagepoint Senior Living Services in LaPlata, MD. Born on February 27, 1945 in Richmond, VA to the late James and Jane Pitts, Margaret is survived by her son, Josiah Altman and his wife, Nadine.

Margaret was a Teacher for Alexandria City Public Schools.

A Funeral Service will be held on November 6, 2018 at 11AM at the Varina Episcopal Church (2385 Mill Rd., Varina, VA 23231); Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. Online condolences to the family can be shared at arehartechols.com.
