Susan K. Harding

Susan K. Harding, 70, of Waldorf, MD passed away on August 5, 2019.

Born in Romney, WV on November 16, 1948, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard

Harding, Jr.; and son, John W. Harding, parents, David E. Barnes & Anna Ganoe Barnes,

Siblings, David Barnes & Jenny Barnes. Susan is survived by her son, Richard Harding, III;

Brother-in-law, Steve Harding; sister-in-law, Sheri Harding; and granddaughter, Alyssa Harding.

Susan was a security officer for McKeen Defense Group in Northern Virginia. She was an avid

reader and enjoyed cooking, watching Disney movies, the ocean and her dogs, Rag Muffin and

Gizmo. A devout Christian, Susan was a member of Vineyard Church of Waldorf and South

Potomac Church and was involved in numerous outreach events with her church. She will be

remembered for her humble generosity and energy to do whatever she could to help others.
