Alexander Bowling Lancaster

Alexander Bowling Lancaster, 79 of Prince Frederick, MD passed away on Saturday August 14, 2021 at his home.

Alex was born in Washington, DC on December 19, 1941 to the late Simon Spearman and Mary Bell Lancaster. He is also predeceased by his brother Roger Lancaster.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Lancaster; sons, Eric Lancaster (Donna) and Mark Ginda (Terry); daughters, Erica Cherie Lancaster and Allison Cramer (Jeff); brother, Spearman Lancaster, II; sisters, Mary Digiorgi, Pat McVannon and Avis Wonisch; grandchildren, Katie, Ellen, Kevin, Anya, Alexis and Helena.

Alex served in the United States Army from January 1964 until January 1966 achieving the rank of Second Lieutenant. He then opened a Janitorial and Restaurant Supply business with his brother. Alexander loved his work and his family. He was always very active in the communities that he lived in and gave 100 % into everything that he did.

The family will receive friends on Monday August 23, 2021 from 1 to 3PM at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home (211 St. Mary’s Ave. LaPlata, MD 20646)
