Obituary
Andrew (Andy) Lee Robey, 58, of Billingsley Road Waldorf Md, died Tuesday May 3, 2022 at Fort Washington Hospital after a long illness.
Andy, a beloved son of John M. Robey, Jr. and Judith A. (Bergling) Robey (deceased), was born September 5, 1963 in Plattsburg NY. He was a 1981 graduate of McDonough High School, Pomfret MD.
Andy worked for 8 years as a printer for the Maryland Independent newspaper. He later worked 20 years for Gannett Press as a USA Today printer. Andy was a free spirit who enjoyed cars and motorcycles.
Andy is survived by two children, Candace Robey and Zachary Robey both of Waldorf MD. He also leaves his father John M. Robey Jr. of PA, his sister Danna L. Rickard of Chantilly VA, his two brothers John D. Robey of St. Petersburg FL, and Scott M. Robey of Avenue MD.
Andy will be missed by his family, friends and fellow parishioners at St. Joseph’s Church, Pomfret MD.
