Apostle Robin Lee Obituary

Obituary for Apostle Robin Ann Lee

Apostle Robin Ann Morris Lee transitioned peacefully to her eternal rest on December 25, 2024, at the age of 65, at St. John Neumann Nursing Home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Robin was born in La Plata, Maryland, to the late Annie Beatrice Wood-Thomas and William Halbert Jacks (affectionately known as Boo Jack).

Robin was a woman of unyielding determination and a relentless pursuit of growth. After earning her high school diploma online, she embraced education with a passion. Her thirst for knowledge led her to earn a theology degree in Upstate New York, followed by three additional degrees in Business Management, English, and Liberal Arts, all before suffering her first stroke in 2017.

From an early age, Robin felt the call of God on her life, which led her to become an ordained non-denominational minister under the leadership of Senior Pastors Robert and Ramona Covington at Upper Room Revival Center. Her ministry took her across the country as she spread the word of God, teaching others the love and wisdom she cherished. Robin’s faith was the foundation of her life, and her commitment to sharing the gospel never wavered, even in the face of hardship.

Robin’s resilience was evident not only in her faith but also in her career. She worked in various fields, including as a construction worker, grade school substitute teacher, and businesswoman, having opened her own wholesale jewelry business. Her work ethic was unmatched—whether preparing for a military move by packing boxes ahead of time or dressing in her finest attire to prepare Sunday dinner after church, Robin always gave her best. She was a woman who could not be held back by circumstances, constantly moving forward and overcoming any challenge in her path.

Robin’s zest for life, her unshakable faith, and her deep love for her family made her a beloved presence to all who knew her. Known for her strength, kindness, and unwavering commitment to those she loved, Robin dedicated herself to nurturing and serving her family. Even after suffering multiple strokes, she regained the ability to walk and speak, continually striving to live life to the fullest, while always making others feel cherished and supported.

Robin’s legacy of love, faith, and resilience will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Zekiah Lee; one brother, Oswald Wood; and a host of beloved sisters: Bernice Greenfield, Sheila Evans, Maria Wood, Joyce (Larry) Lawrence, and Phyllis Lowery. Robin also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews: Joseph Greenfield (Jay), Marsha Wood, Mario Greenfield, Rharshi Greenfield, Treavous W, Leisha Wood, Brock Wood, Sarah Wood (Simmons), Latashia Wood, Reva Wood, Janee Rogers, Joseph Jenkins Jr., and Devon Jenkins, along with a host of great-nieces and great-nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, Annie B. Wood-Thomas and Boo Jack; sisters Doris Wood and Brenda Morris; brothers Joseph Jenkins Sr. and Billy Morris; and her beloved family dog, Elmo Lee, affectionately known as Mighty Mo.

Robin’s family, along with the countless individuals whose lives she touched, will forever remember her for her strength, kindness, and unwavering faith. She held a special place in her heart for her niece Leisha Wood and her good friend Arlene Taylor. While her earthly journey has come to an end, Robin’s legacy of love, faith, and resilience will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.
