Brenda Sue Greer

Our beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother and friend Brenda Sue (Thompson) Greer passed away on May 6, 2023 at the age of 64. We are heartbroken to lose someone so special. Brenda was born on April 11, 1959 in La Plata MD. She spent most of her working career at the PEPCO power plant where she met her husband Mac Greer. She enjoyed gardening, going to concerts and spending time with her family and friends. Brenda will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her parents, Lawrence Thompson Sr, Edna Mae (Williams) Thompson and brother Lawrence Thompson Jr. She is survived by husband Sylvester (Mac) Greer Jr, sisters Sandra (Thompson) Gragan, Janet (Thompson) Ritter, sister-in-law BettyLou Thompson, son Sylvester (Mick) Greer III, daughter in-law Emma Greer, daughter in-law Jessica (Greer) Raley, son in-law Steve Raley, grandchildren William Greer, Charles Greer, Nathan Raley, Tara Raley, Jameson Raley and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Viewing will be at Arehart-Echols funeral home Friday May 12th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm with prayers at 7:30pm. A Mass will be held on Saturday May 13th at 10am at St Ignatius Hill Top in Hilltop Maryland.
