Carla Hall Obituary

Carla Cecil Hall, 50, of Pomfret, MD passed away suddenly on June 5, 2020 at the University of MD Charles Regional Medical Center.

Born in Washington, DC to James and Linda Cecil on May 1, 1970, Carla is preceded in death by her mother, Linda Jane Cecil.  She is survived by her father James and his wife, Veronica, her sons James and Joey Hall; step-daughters, Brittany and Amanda Hall; fiancé, Joseph Fitzpatrick; sister, Dana and her husband Randolph; niece, Alyson Roberts; and her forever best friend and father of her children, Joseph Patrick Hall. She is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends

Carla’s love for her children and her family was extraordinary without measure.  She loved them all unconditionally, especially her children.  Her legacy will continue through them.

Carla worked in the printing industry until she found her true passion as an addiction counselor.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and worked for Walden Treatment Center in the Tri County area.  Carla’s clients were her purpose and she pursued a life dedicated to helping them.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Friday June 19, 2020 at the New Life Church LaPlata, MD from 10 until FAMILY only service at 12 noon.
