Carolyn Ann McDonald

Carolyn Ann McDonald 77 of Montross, Va. Passed away at home on Wednesday March 6, 2024.

Carolyn was born on October 17, 1946 in Washington, DC to the late Harry and Bertie Adkins. She is also predeceased by her husband, Edward McDonald.

She is survived by her sons, Edward McDonald, Jr. and Daniel McDonald; daughters, Ruth Stewart and Rhonda Dressel; brother, Steve Adkins; sister, Mary Stone; grandchildren, Amanda Stewart, Tara Duncan, Heather McDonald, Ricky McDonald and Skylar McDonald. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.

Carolyn was a custodian for the Howard County School System. She loved birds especially cardinals and flowers.

The family will receive friends at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home (211 St. Mary’s Ave. LaPlata, MD 20646) on Monday March 18, 2024 from 9 AM until her service time at 11AM. Interment to follow at the Resurrection Cemetery (8000 Woodyard Rd. Clinton, MD 20735).
