Carolyn Marie Simpson

Carolyn Marie Simpson, 71 of Faulkner, MD passed away at her home on Sunday July 25, 2021.

Carolyn was born on October 12, 1949 La Plata, MD to the late Benjamin and Bernadette Simpson. She is also predeceased by her sister, Ellen S. Cooksey.

Carolyn is survived by her brothers, James Simpson(Eleanor), Robert Simpson and Edward Simpson(Helene ); sisters, Anne St. Clair(David, deceased), Mary Frances Bowling(Chester ,deceased) and Patricia Finch(David).Brother-in-law Guy Cooksey. She also had many nieces and nephews.

Carolyn worked as a clerk at numerous Spring Dell thrift stores. Receiving many awards locally and national. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Church choir and loved giving hugs. She loved music (oldies), dancing, doing needle point, playing Bingo , listening to her CD’s, watching her DVD’s and lots of old shows like “Emergency”  Star Trek, Golden Girls and many more. She retired and was a member of the Triumph room at Spring Dell Center.  She loved her family and all the children.

The family will receive friends on Monday August 2, 2021 at the St. Mary’s Church (11555 St. Mary’s Church Rd. Charlotte Hall, MD 20622) from 10 AM until Mass time at 11 AM.

Interment to follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery (23080 Maddox Rd. Bushwood, MD 20618)
