Charles Harry Shymansky, Sr. 73 of Cobb Island, MD. Passed away on Monday July 15, 2024 in Washington, DC.
Charles was born on August 24, 1950 in LaPlata, MD to the late James Shymansky, Sr. and Margaret Shymansky. He is also predeceased by his brothers, James A. Shymansky, Jr. “Tinky”, Charles Lee Shymansky and David Francis Shymansky, Sr.
Charles served in the United States Army from February 18, 1970 to December 20, 1971. He loved working on cars. He was a car enthusiast, especially loved Mustangs. He was a former member of the Cobb Island Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Cobb Island Citizens Association.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Shymansky; son, Charles Harry Shymansky, Jr.; daughters, Julie Christine Jarboe and Cheryl Lynn Goldsmith; sister, Sue Anne Shymansky. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday July 29, 2024 from 9:30 AM until Mass time at 11 Am at the Holy Ghost Church (15848 Rock Point Rd. Newburg, MD 20664). Interment to follow at the church cemetery.
