Connie Kay Dyer

Connie Kay Dyer, 65, of Waldorf, MD passed away on February 8, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.

Connie was born on September 1, 1955 in Washington, IA to the late John and Viola McCall.  She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Dyer; son, Matthew Kaufman; daughter, Melissa Kaufman; sister, Deborah Gorman; and grandchildren, Aiden Tovar, Mateo Tovar, Annabell Kaufman and Corben Kaufman.

Connie worked in accounting and loved her job.  She enjoyed boating, crocheting, gardening, canning, horseback riding, attending craft shows and her word search puzzles.  Connie’s fun loving spirit made each day spent with her a memorable one.  She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and a loving and kind friend to many.  The family matriarch in every sense of the word, Connie will be missed by all whose lives she touched. 

The family will receive friends at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, PA (211 St. Mary’s Ave., LaPlata, MD) on Monday, February 15, 2021 from 4PM to 7PM; A Funeral Service will be held at Independent Baptist Church (9255 Piscataway Rd., Clinton, MD) on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 11AM; Interment to follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens (3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Rd., Waldorf, MD).  Memorial donations may be made in Connie’s memory to the American Cancer Society.  Online condolences to the family can be shared at arehartechols.com.
