Dale E. Dyer

Dale E. Dyer, 61, of Bushwood, MD passed away on April 9, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Dale was born in Maryland to the late Walter and Dorothy Dyer.  He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Danny Simpkins and Charles “Buddy” Simpkins, Jr.; and sisters, Vera Simpkins and Joyce Simpkins.  Dale is survived by his son, Dale Dyer, Jr.; brother, Robert Dyer; sisters, Rose Pierce and JoAnn Lewis; and ten grandchildren.

Dale was a professional painter.  He loved the Redskins and enjoyed fishing, boating and watching Western movies. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 6PM to 8PM at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, PA, 211 St. Mary’s Ave., LaPlata, MD; where a Funeral Service will begin at 7PM.  Interment will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dale’s memory to the American Cancer Society at www.canger.org.
