FrancIs Earl Tayman

Francis Earl Tayman, 84 of Newburg, MD passed away on November 26, 2016 at his home.

Born in Brandywine, MD on June 14, 1932 to the late Clarence W. Tayman and the late Mary Myrtle Dement Tayman, Francis is also preceded in death by his brothers, Walter R. Tayman (Buck), Joseph R.  Tayman (Bo) and John L. Tayman (Dinky); and sisters, Virginia T. Willingham (Thelma), Mary G. Bovbjerg (Gladys) and Mary Ellen O’Reilly.  He is survived by his wife, Barbara; son, Tracy Tayman (Laryssa); daughters, Karen Lofton (Jeff), Melissa Clemens (Ken), Tanya Tayman, Elizabeth McClanahan and Pamela Jurney (Randy); sisters, Shirley Cooper and Audrey Myers; brother, Walter C. Tayman; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Francis was a past member of the VFW and Waldorf Moose Lodge.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

A Chapel Service will be held at MD Veteran’s Cemetery Cheltenham, MD on December 13, 2016 at 1:45PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.  We invite you to share condolences for the family at arehartechols.com.
