George I. Gardiner, IV

George I Gardiner, IV 57 of LaPlata, MD passed away on Thursday May 30, 2024.

George was born on February 25, 1967 in LaPlata, MD to Ellen and the late George Gardiner, III.

He is also survived by his daughter, Whitney Yochem (John); brother, Michael Gardiner (Tracie); sister, Kelly Hayden (Tony, Jr.); nephew Joseph Hayden; nieces Toni Hayden and Shelbie Conteh (Ishmail).

George was an Estimator for Capital Welding in LaPlata, MD. He loved watching D.C. sports and NASCAR. He also enjoyed playing golf and being with his family.

The family will receive friends on Thursday June 6, 2024 from 10:30 am until his service at 12:30 pm at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home (211 St. Mary’s Ave. LaPlata, MD 20646). Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens (3221 Mattawoman Beantown Rd. Waldorf, MD 20601).
