Geraldine Medlin

Geraldine Medlin 77, of Cobb Island, MD passed away on Tuesday January 27, 2026 at her home.

Geraldine was born on February 9, 1948 in LaPlata, MD to the late Roscoe and Rosa Collins. She is also predeceased by her son, Larry Thompson, Jr.: daughter, Tammy Miller; brothers, Leroy Collins, Donnie Collins and Eugene Collins; sister, Josephine Burch.

She is survived by her daughters, Sharee Jones (Paul) and Antionette Latson (Melvin); sister, Barbara Garner. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Prior to her retirement from Murray’s Steak House she waitressed at Jenny’s Home Place and Captain Pete’s Restaurants. She loved her nieces and nephews, playing cards, slot machines and playing Yahtzee. Her favorite times were spent at family gatherings and her favorite time of year was Christmas.

A celebration of her life will be held March 15, 2026, 1 PM at the Mechanicsville Moose Lodge.
