Gregory S. Jewell, 54, of Port Tobacco, MD passed away in his sleep at his residence in the early morning on November 16, 2020.

He was born in Washington, D.C. and spent almost all of his life in Port Tobacco, MD. Gregg graduated from McDonough High School and attended the University of Maryland. He worked for the Pentagon.

He was a beloved son, brother and uncle. He loved his family. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sonia Jewell. He is survived by his father, Charles Jewell, his mother, Sheila Jewell (Smith), his brothers, Chuck Jewell and Kevin Jewell (Amy), his sisters Virginia Jewell and Marcel Jewell, his nephews and niece, Gabriel, Rachel, Samuel & Michael.

He loved Nascar, all sports, especially golf, talk radio and day trading. His greatest joy were his dogs, Clifford and Rudy.

Service will be held Monday, November 23, 2020 at 11am - visitation starts at 9am at the First Baptist Church of La Plata (9070 Hawthorne Road, La Plata, MD 20646). His burial immediately following at Historyland Memorial Park (11227 James Madison Parkway, King George, VA 22485).
