Jack Kite Obituary

Jack Naumann Kite 83 of Bryantown, MD passed away on Thursday April 29, 2021 at the Calvert Health Medical Center.  He was a treasured husband, father, brother and friend with a gentle and joyful spirit.  Along with his wife of 56 years, Jeannette Wilson Kite (deceased) he raised four loving children, Connie Kite (deceased) Vickie Kite Milburn (Patrick Milburn) Jacqueline Martin (Eddie Martin) and John Kite.

Jack enjoyed fishing, sports, and nascar, eating crabs, spending time with his family and friends, and reminiscing about his young adult adventures. He loved animals, most especially dogs, that seemed to be attracted to his kind heart.

After retiring from the Local 602 Steamfitters Union he was happy to fill his time assisting his wife with her craft business and helping with the after school care of his two grandchildren,  Morgan Martin Critchfield  (Jon Critchfield) and Casey Martin, whom he cherished.  He was  excited when his first great grandchild Maura Critchfield was born and expanded the family.

Jack also loved spending time with his siblings, Robert, Wayne (deceased) Butch Kite and Betty Hatton (deceased ) and Joyce Brumback.  He lived his life as a witness to God's abundant love,  and forgiveness, always patient, kind and caring and never speaking negatively about others. Jack Kite left his mark on the lives of those he met and will be forever in our hearts. As he often told his children, he will be loved forever and ever.
