Jennifer S Hancock passed at home on Thursday, September 24th and “The world lost a beautiful soul.”

Jennifer was born on July 6th, 1979 in “Clinton” Md, a precious daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

Jennifer is predeceased by her maternal grandparents: George & Betty Leonard, Sr. her Uncle & Aunt George & Cora Leonard, Jr., and Uncle Jeffrey Leonard.

Jennifer is survived by her parents Michael & Debra Hancock Sr. grandparents; Herb & Carol Hancock, sisters; Lisa Messano, Paula (John) Norris, Christen Hebert; brothers; Michael (Kim) Hancock, Jr. Jason (Alicia) Hancock, William Wolfe; Uncle Ernest (Beverly) Leonard; aunts; Sherrie (Charles) Taylor, Tina (Bobby) Hales, Holly Hall, Sherrie (Melvin) Smith, Jr. nephews; Anthony Hancock, Sebastian Norris;  nieces; Kayla Printz, Summer Hancock; numerous cousins and adopted honorary grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends.

Jennifer was a happy young lady despite her disabilities, constant pain, and unwavering health challenges. She enjoyed eating out and shopping and could name every store and eating establishment in and around the area. She loved to attend church, plays, concerts, baseball games (Blue Crabs & Nationals) along with watching football games especially the Ravens on her big screen TV in Apartment #1 as she would call it but it was really her bedroom.  You literally could hear her shouting/cheering as it echoed throughout the entire house! She spent hours working on her photo albums filled with pictures of family and friends here and gone.  She was a lover of country, gospel, oldies, and pop.  She watched Polka shows on TV twice a week because she knew Gram and Pop loved to Polka.  Jennifer brought smiles and laughter to all who crossed her path, she was kind, caring, outgoing, strong and a blessing.  It was a true honor having her in our lives!

Jennifer will be honored Thursday October 8th, at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, in LaPlata Maryland from 4-6 PM.

Mass and memorial services will take place Friday October 9th, at 11 o'clock at St Ignatius of Loyola Hilltop Catholic Church in Ironsides, Maryland followed by a repast in the church hall.
