John Earl Seekford

John Earl Seekford, 61, of Waldorf, MD passed away on January 4, 2022 at the University of Charles Regional Medical Center.

Born in Cheverly, MD on February 29, 1960 to the late Ellen Virginia Sasscer Seekford, John is also predeceased by his brother, William Carroll Seekford.  John leaves behind his fiancé, September Lundeen; son, Jason William Seekford; daughter, Jennifer Seekford; sister-in-law, Debbie Seekford; sisters, Joyce Reid (Chuck) and Sandy Germain (Joe); and many nieces and nephews.

John worked in K-9 security and had a love for dogs.  He was also devoted to his family and friends.  An avid sports fan, John was nationally ranked in the USTA Amateur Tennis League and enjoyed football, biking and kayaking.  John enjoyed traveling and sight seeing in his spare time.  He was fun spirited and had a quirky sense of humor we will all miss.
