Joyce “Joy” Reamy Murtaugh 82 of Swan Point, MD passed away on Wednesday September 24, 2025 in Swan Point, MD.

Joy was born on March 15, 1943 in Washington, DC to the late John and Faye Reamy. She is also predeceased by her husband, Tom Murtaugh.

She is survived by her stepdaughters, Dawn Murtaugh Zimmermann and Shawn Murtaugh Chaney; brother, John Reamy.

Joy was a computer expert. She started her career in 1966 working her way to being one of the Principals at the computer firm that she worked at.

Joy’s services will be private.
