Karen Marie Jenkins
We are sad to announce the passing of Karen Marie Garrity Jenkins who died on July 31 2023 at South Maryland Hospital.
Karen was born on February 10, 1953 in Washington DC.
The first child to Joseph Garrity Sr. and Theda Mae Kidwell-Garrity.
She grew up in Camp Springs Maryland and as a child she loved to listen to music, especially Elvis, and watching TV shows like Happy Days and Night Ryder. She was also a big fan of Days of Our Lives and Dark Shadows.
She loved to travel and had the great experience of travelling to Hawaii several times as well as visiting Ireland with her family.
She met her soul mate and fell in love with Donald Eugene Jenkins. They married and together they had a beautiful daughter Amber Leigh Jenkins who they both thought the world of.
Karen was a beautiful, kind soul. She will be missed by so many people, especially her brothers
Joseph John Garrity Jr., John Garrity, and her sister Mary Adams-Lonetto
as well as her sister-in-law Dolores Garrity (wife of Joseph), her brother-in-law Thomas Lonetto (husband of Mary Lonetto), and her sister-in-law Kathy Jenkins (sister of Donald Jenkins).
Celebration of her life will be at
