Obituary
Kathryn Mary (Hinchliffe) Staples passed away on July 28, 2023. Kathy was born on September 18, 1968. A lifelong resident of Charles County, Maryland, she resided in La Plata, Maryland. She graduated from McDonough High School in 1986 and from Salisbury University in 1991. She was a valued employee of the family business Waldorf Tire Center/Southern Tire and Auto Centers until retiring. She is survived by her daughter Sydney Lauren Staples, her son Gavin Robert Staples, her father Richard Ward Hinchliffe, her mother Christine Wallace Hinchliffe, her sister Kristin Hinchliffe Joson, her sister Karen Hinchliffe Miller and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She had many hobbies and talents including interior decorating, sewing, and reupholstering. The family will be having a private memorial in honor of their beloved Kathy. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Last Chance Animal Rescue.
