Lisa Marie Gelzer 58 of LaPlata, MD passed away on Tuesday January 20, 2026 in LaPlata, MD.

Lisa was born on July 1, 1967 in Cheverly, MD to the late James Gorby and Diane Gorby. She is also predeceased by her husband’s William “Billy” Longley, JR. and Michael Shay Gelzer.

Lisa is survived by her son, Joseph Longley; daughter, Rebecca Longley; sister, Marsha Articola; granddaughter, Kylie Dillow; aunt, Cynthia Davidoff; nephew, Stephen Articola and her significant other; Charles Welch.

Lisa worked as a caregiver helping those in need. She collected stuffed animals especially bears. She also loved livestock and classic country music.
