Margaret Jean Lynch

Margaret Jean “Jeannie” Lynch, 72, of Lexington Park, MD passed away on May 4, 2021 at the Washington Hospital Center.

Born in LaPlata, MD on August 20, 1948 to the late John Burch and Emma Burch, she is also preceded in death by her husband, John Lynch, Sr.; brothers, Theodore Burch, Leslie Burch, Leo Burch, David Burch, and Bunny Burch; and sister, Josephine Burch.  Jeannie leaves behind her sons, John Lynch, Jr.(Terri) and James “Greg” Lynch(Heather); daughters, Margaret Lynch Hebb(Lonnie) and Cindy Hardy(Larry); brothers, Bobbie Burch and Carroll Burch(Dottie); sisters, Mae Burch and Pearl Burch; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Jeannie enjoyed department store, thrift store and yard sale shopping.  She took pride in her porcelain doll and antique collection, loved dancing, Monday night raw wresting and soaking up the sun.  Family was always the center of Jeannie’s life.  Her memory will live on in all of the many lives she touched.

Visitation will be held at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, PA (211 St. Mary’s Ave., LaPlata, MD) on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 4PM to 7PM.  A Funeral Service will also be held at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, PA on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 11AM; Interment to follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens (3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Rd., Waldorf, MD).  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeannie’s memory to the National Kidney Foundation.
