Marilyn Kyser

Marilyn Therese Kyser, 88, of Waldorf, MD, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2025, in White Plains, MD.

Born on August 18, 1937, in Bessemer, Michigan, Marilyn was the daughter of the late Michael and Josephine De Stasio. She was also preceded in death by her cherished son, Richard (Rick) Kyser.

Marilyn’s greatest joy was her family, who will forever carry her love in their hearts. She is survived by her daughter Terri Ging (Earl), sons Tony Kyser (Wanda) and Mark Kyser (Sara), and her grandchildren Ty (Brooke) and Becca Kyser; Taryn, Kristen, and Camryn Ging; Kylie, Drew, Luke, and Max Kyser. She also leaves behind two adored great-granddaughters, Emily and Paizlee Kyser.

For more than 40 years, Marilyn devoted herself to her work as a dialysis technician where she touched countless lives with compassion and care. Outside of work, she found happiness in the simple joys of life-reading a good book, working on crossword puzzles, and cheering on her favorite teams, the Washington Commanders (Redskins) and Washington Capitals. Above all, her proudest moments were spent on the sidelines, watching and supporting her grandchildren in everything they pursued.

Marilyn will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend whose warmth, loyalty, and love of family were at the center of her life. Her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured and the lives she so deeply touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
