Mary Theresa (Flint) Forster (Tee Dee), 76 of Leonardtown, MD, full of faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ, ascended into one of those mansions on Tuesday October 3, 2023, in Clinton, MD.
Mary was born in Ticonderoga, NY on August 11, 1947, to the late Lester Thompson and Margaret Eulalia (Vogelson) Flint. She is also predeceased by her sister and sweetest angel, Ruth Frances (Ruthie) Flint and her beloved grandson, Robert Burke.
She is survived by her daughters, Margaret Graham of Abilene, TX, Ruth Davis (husband Freddie Greenwell) of Mechanicsville, MD, and Therese “Terri” Jenkins (husband Mitchell) of McKinney, TX; son, Joseph Forster (wife Mandy) of Carlisle, PA, and brother, Thomas Lester Flint, II (special and much-loved sister-in-law, Carol) of Waldorf, MD. Mary is also survived by her beloved niece, Kim Hammett (Jeff), of Charlotte Hall, MD, and Thomas Lester Flint, III (Rita Earnshaw), of Waldorf, MD.
Mary spent many years proudly raising her children before deciding to work outside of the home as a clerk for the Charles County Sheriff’s office in Waldorf, MD.
She was the grandmother of Pamela Joan Burke, Brittany M. Dyette (JC), Mary T. Windsor (Anthony), Sarah J. Davis, Jenny M. Davis, Nicole C. Duncan (Colton), Joshua D. Pitts, Laura Ruth Pitts, Gwyneth A Forster, and Faith E. Forster. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, Archie Harold Goldsmith, III, Noah Cole Goldsmith, Rhys Emmett Dyette, Madden Henry Duncan, Emerson Kathryn Duncan, and Amelia Ruth Windsor, and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends on October 16th, 2023, from 4 to 7PM (prayers at 6:00 pm), at the Arehart - Echols Funeral Home (211 St. Mary’s Ave. LA Plata, MD 20646). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated October 17th, 2023, at 10:00 am at the Sacred Heart Church (201 St. Mary’s Ave. LaPlata, MD 20646). Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
