Michael Burnham

Michael Burnham 74 of Cobb Island, MD passed away on Sunday March 19, 2023 in Waldorf, MD.

Mike was born on November 7, 1948 in Baltimore, MD to the late Henry and Margaret Burnham. He is also predeceased by his brother, Edward Burnham and his sister, Cecelia McElligott.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette Burnham.

Mike was a retired Natural Resources Police Officer. He always had a passion for the outdoors even after work enjoying hunting and fishing. He was also a member of the Cobb Island Volunteer Fire Department holding the position of Treasure for 25 years.

The family will receive friends on Thursday March 23, 2023 from 4 to 7 PM with Fireman’s Prayers at 6 PM. At the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home (211 St. Mary’s Ave. LaPlata, MD 20646).

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday March 24, 2023 at the Holy Ghost Church (15848 Rock Point Rd. Issue, MD 20645) at 11 AM. Interment will be at a later date.
