Michael Kirkwood

Michael Earl Kirkwood 66 of Waldorf, MD passed away on Monday June 30, 2025 at his home.

Michael was born on July 31, 1958 in Washington, DC to the late Earl and Mary Kirkwood. He is also predeceased by his sister, Sandra Junker.

Michael is survived by his son, Scott Kirkwood; brother, Mark Kirkwood; sisters, Cheryl Emery and Karen Kirkwood

Michael worked as a framer in the construction industry.  He loved spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing, sports, puzzles, playing pool and woodworking.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday July 15, 2025 from 6 PM to 8 PM with a Memorial service at 7 PM at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home (211 St. Mary’s Ave. LaPlata, MD 20646). His interment will be at a later date.
