Monte J. Tasker

Monte J. Tasker,67 of LaPlata passed away on Monday February 10, 2025 in Washington, DC.

Monte was born on February 26, 1957 in Quantico, VA to the late Donald and Anna Tasker. He is also predeceased by his brothers, Donald Tasker, Jr. and John Tasker.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Tasker; daughters, Anna Tasker and Allison Keppler (Craig); brother, Ronald Tasker (Kathy); sister, Robin Henley (Mike).

Monte retired from the Charles County Board of Education working in the facilities Department. He enjoyed NASCAR, Rock and Roll Music and eating crabs with family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday February 20, 2025 from 1 to 3 PM at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home (211 St. Mary’s Ave. LaPlata, MD 20646). Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association (P.O. Box 840692 Dallas, TX 75284).
