Robert Franklin Poole, Sr.

Robert “Bob” Franklin Poole, Sr. 81 of Waldorf, MD passed away on Friday November 28, 2025 at his home.

Bob was born on August 25, 1944 in Washington, DC to the late Benjamin Franklin Poole and Eleanor Ann Poole. He is also predeceased by his grandson, Bryant King and his sister, Kathy Poole.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Poole; son, Robert Poole, Jr. (Penny); daughter, Teresa Petrillo; grandchildren, Jenifer King, Kayla Iriarte and Karly Iriarte; great granddaughter, Karmen.

Bob spent his career as a bookbinder and was an active member of the East Coast Drifters car club.

The family will receive friends on Saturday December 20, 2025 from 10 AM until 12 Noon at the Arehart – Echols Funeral Home (211 St. Mary’s Ave. LaPlata, MD 20646). His interment will be at a later date in Alabama.
