Sharon P. O’Neil 

Born July 3rd, 1940 in Takoma Park, MD passed away peacefully on December 10th, 2022 at the age of 82. Sharon retired from the Charles County courthouse where she worked as the secretary for Judge Richard Clark. She was also a past volunteer for Charles County Hospice. Sharon, or “Grammie” as her beloved grandchildren & great-grandchildren lovingly called her was a beautiful soul who loved reading, art, music, shopping and most of all being surrounded by family. With her sense of humor, warm heart, and devotion to her family she was a beam of light for those who were fortunate enough to love and care for her.

Preceded in death by father Frank Tobin, mother Juanita Sutler Tobin, sister Jacqueline "Jackie" Thatcher, and brothers Michael & Charles “Buddy” Tobin.

She is survived by her children Joseph O’Neil (Sherry) , Shawn O’Neil (Tina), and Alesia Corrine O’Neil, brothers Edward “Eddie” (Linda), Marvin “Skipper” (Sandy), and Cordell (Glenda) Tobin, Grandchildren Timothy O’Neil, Jessica O’Neil (Andy Watson), Hannah O’Neil (Brian Noel), Hayden O’Neil, Noah O’Neil (Laura Gore), Lauren Clements (Trevor), Nora O’Neil (Jordan Corboo), Serena O’Neil (William Woodfin), Meagan & Tyler Forsht and her great-grandchildren Connor Daly, Skylar Noel, Sadie O’Neil, Asher Noel, Avery Watson, Paisley Corboo, Corinne Watson, and Scarlett Woodfin.

The pallbearers will be her grandsons and her great-grandson, Connor, will be an honorary pallbearer.

A visitation will be held on the evening of Wednesday 12/14/2022 from 6-8p with words from loved ones starting at 7p at Aerhart-Echols Funeral Home in LaPlata, MD Interment will be held privately with family the following day at Stonewall Memory Gardens in Manassas, VA.
