Stephen Paul Tipton

Stephen Tipton, a long-time resident of Prince George’s County, died at home on March 5, 2020 at the age of 64.

Steve will be missed by his Dad, his son, Nathaniel and daughter, Vail, grandson, Xavi, sister, Cheryl and brothers, Gene and Neal, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his Mom, Patsy; and his brother, Tim.

Steve was born in Washington, DC on September 4, 1955, to Roy and Patsy Tipton. He graduated from Crossland High School and worked as a truck driver for many years.

He enjoyed the beach, movies, being outdoors, music and was an avid reader. He particularly enjoyed military and civil war history.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 12, 2020, from 5 to 8 PM at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home (LaPlata, MD). A funeral service will be held at 7 PM. Interment will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Christ United Church of Christ in Conicville, Virginia at 1 PM.
