Thomas Joseph Krahling

At the age of 90, Thomas Joseph Krahling (aka Skippy, dad and Pop) born December 29, 1933 of LaPlata passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loving family on January 11, 2024.

He was married to the love of his life Joyce Harris Krahling for 50 years who preceded him in death in 2004. He is survived by his children and their spouses Pamela LaBille, Thomas Krahling (Robin), Timothy Krahling, Patricia DeMent (John), Gregory Krahling (Nina), Garry Krahling (Joy), David Krahling (Kathy), and the best for last Daniel Krahling. He also is survived by twenty-two (22) grandchildren, fifteen (15) great-grandchildren, three (3) great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is also preceded in death by his son-in-law James LaBille, daughter-in-law’s Patricia (Patty) Krahling and Tina Krahling as well as his brothers James & Eddie, sisters Mary & Patsy.

Viewing and Mass will be celebrated on January 17, 2024 at St. Mary’s Newport Catholic Church, Charlotte Hall, MD.  Viewing is from 10:00am to 1:00pm followed by a Catholic service.  Repass will follow service in the church hall.   Private burial will take place at a later date.
