Thomas "Tommy" Wayne Jones

Thomas “Tommy” Jones 65 of Newburg, MD passed away on Tuesday April 5, 2022 at his home.

Tommy was born on August 5, 1956 in La Plata, MD to Katherine and the late James Jones. He is also predeceased by his brother, James “Bubba” Jones; nephew Kyle, and his girlfriend Kimberly.

He is survived by his brothers, Arthur Jones, Paul Jones (Sharee); sister, Jean Stephenson (Daryl) and 11 nieces and nephews.

Tommy was a heavy equipment operator and loved doing card tricks and telling jokes. He is an avid Redskins fan and enjoyed playing horseshoes.

His Memorial service will be held on Wednesday April 20, 2022 at 1 pm at the Cobb Island Volunteer Fire Department and EMS (17069 Cobb Island Rd. Cobb Island, MD 20625). His interment will be held at a later date.
