Obituary
Wanda Darlene Unkle, 64, of LaPlata, MD passed away on November 12, 2021 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center.
Wanda was born in Washington, DC on October 21, 1957. She is predeceased by her mother, Barbara E. Parker. Wanda is survived by her father, Walter E. Parker, Sr.; sons, Gregory Unkle and Thomas Unkle; daughter, Barbara Unkle; brother, Walter E. Parker, Jr.; and sisters, June Sparrow and Barbara Sharon Sparrow.
In her spare time, Wanda enjoyed working in her yard and was an avid crafter. She was a fabulous cook and loved to take pictures and entertain for family and friends. Wanda will be missed by the many lives she touched.
The family will receive friends at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, PA (211 St. Mary’s Ave., LaPlata, MD) on Monday November 22, 2021 from 4 to 7 PM. Where her funeral service will be held on Tuesday November 23, 2021 at 11 AM. Interment to follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens (3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Rd., Waldorf, MD).
