William D. Pemberton

William D. Pemberton, 92 of Pomfret, MD passed away on January 28, 2021 in the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home.

William was born on December 6, 1928 in Washington, DC to the late Jack and Anna Pemberton. He is also predeceased by his brother, Albert Pemberton and his granddaughter; Erica Pemberton.

He is survived by his wife, Rheta Pemberton; son, Eric Pemberton; daughter, Cindy Goad; grandsons James Goad and Brandon Anderson.

William retired as the a shop foreman in the federal government. He was a member of the Southern Maryland Carvers association and enjoyed fishing and watching the Washington Redskins.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday February 3, 2021 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home 9211 St. Mary’s Ave. LaPlata, MD 20646). Graveside services will be held at 1 PM at the Trinity Memorial Gardens (3221 Mattawoman Beantown Rd. Waldorf, MD 20601).
