William "Bill" Adams

William “Bill” Adams 89 of LaPlata, MD passed away on January 10, 2023 in LaPlata, MD.

Bill was born on February 12, 1933 in Malcom, MD to the late Milton and Sadie Adams. He is also predeceased by his loving wife, Helen Adams.

Bill is survived by his son, John Adams; daughter, Marlene Wheeler; sisters, Betty Nimmerrichter and Mary Nevitt and his grandson, Jason Wheeler.

Bill retired from the Federal Government as an Inspector. He loved fishing boating, woodworking, crafts and tinkering with his old car. He also loved going to the beach.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday January 17, 2023 from 4 to 7 PM at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home (211 St. Mary’s Ave. LaPlata, MD 20646). His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday January 18, 2023 11:30 AM at the Funeral Home.

Interment to follow at the Trinity Memorial Gardens (3221 Mattawoman Beantown Rd. Waldorf, MD 20601).

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
