Imogene "Jeanie" McNeil McMillan

Imogene “Jeanie” McNeil McMillan, 86, of LaPlata, MD passed away on December 16, 2017 at the University of MD Charles Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Born in Dante, VA on July 14, 1931 to the late Rollie and Daisy Long, Jeanie is also preceded in death by her husband, Roy McMillian.  She is survived by her brother, Rollie Long; sister, Brenda Auston; daughters, Angela Stansbury and Lisa Wenfield; grandchildren, Ashley Thurman and Chaz Wenfield; and great-grandchildren, Shelby and Max Thurman.

Jeanie worked at Johnny Boy’s Barbecue in Bel Alton, MD.  She purchased LaPlata Liquors in 1991 and was owner and operator until 1997, when she launched Paddock Ribs in White Plains, MD.  She loved cooking and being with her family.
