Pop you were the rock for our family. You were always there for everyone when we needed you. You will be missed so very much by countless people. My sincere condolence to Aunt Betty, Linda & Mark, Bob & Sue and families. After being gone for nearly 80 years, North Dakota and his entire family there remained close to Uncle Lyle’s heart. He will be lovingly remembered as a true hero to all who knew him. As Janet stated, his life long service to our country and the pride in which he served is a testimate to his patriotism. He truly was one of “The Greatest”. I will miss his daily conversations with Mom almost as much as she will. There is no doubt in my mind that he is catching up with the many loved ones who have gone on ahead of us, sharing with them his endless stories, humor and wit, I am proud to have called him “Uncle” and will cherish his memory until he and I meet again.
